The IP Federation has responded to the EU Commission’s inception impact assessment relating to review of the Design Directive and Community Design Regulation. Although our comments submitted in response to this assessment were around the specific objectives and policy options proposed by the Commission, they also reflect our views on some underlying themes and issues in design law in general.
