Consultation on proposed amendments to Arts. 9(1) and 11(b) RFees
13 September 2012
The IP Federation has submitted a response to a SACEPO consultation on proposed amendments to Arts. 9(1) and 11(b) RFees, in time to meet the deadline of 14 September 2012.
We are urging the EPO to reconsider its stance on the proposed refunds and to provide an explanation of both the IFRS (the international accounting standard) problem and the EPO’s position on the suitability of the date of mailing of the search report and examination report as triggers, well in advance of the October 2012 meeting of the SACEPO Working Party on Rules.
